Hey, I'm Rebekka.

In my first role as a helper, I was quickly moving toward burnout.

My education hadn’t prepared me for the challenges and burdens I’d face working with children and youth who suffer to such an extent, and I couldn’t find the resources I needed to bring my body and mind back to a place of balance.

In my next role working at a refugee camp, I noticed how the dysfunctional structures made it impossible for us helpers to take care of ourselves.

As a mom, I now know firsthand how easy it is to put the needs of those who depend on us first.

I do this work because I know that we can’t give what we don’t have. We need to allow ourselves to be cared for, too.

About me
  • I am a licensed healing practitioner for psychotherapy (Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie) with an academic background as a clinical and health psychologist as well as a trained trauma therapist.
  • I’m also a mom to a baby girl.
  • My background spans trauma therapy, mindfulness, and maternal mental health.
  • As a helping professional and a mother myself, I know how easy it is to put the needs of those who depend on us first.
  • I live in a multicultural home with my Mexican husband and daughter. I offer therapy in English and German, but we can also incorporate Spanish whenever it feels natural or helpful for you.
  • I absolutely love yoga, swimming in my favorite lake, and spending time in nature with my little one.

How I can help:

My therapy approach is rooted in mindfulness and somatic practices, honoring the deep connection between mind and body. I work through a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, feminist, and holistic lens—always considering the broader systems and environments you live and work in. Self-reflection is a vital part of healing, but I believe it must always be paired with deep compassion for your unique story.

I am currently specializing further in perinatal mental health, supporting women across all stages of motherhood—from fertility challenges and pregnancy to birth, postpartum, and beyond. Matrescence is a profound life transition; when physical, hormonal, emotional, and societal shifts may leave you feeling disconnected. I’m here to help you integrate your experiences and find your footing in this new life of yours.

If you’re ready to create space for your own healing, I invite you to get in touch get in touch for a free 20-min exploration call to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.
